Ph.D. Candidate, Biomaterials & Bone Tissue Engineering, King’s College London. Special interest in Oral Surgery and Implantology Alex has placed over 7,500 dental implants in Brazil and the UK and is one of the pioneers in Digital Dentistry and Guided Surgery.

His qualifications and areas of interest are dental implants, oral surgery, bone reconstruction, and oral rehabilitation. Alex obtained his Dental Degree from Rio de Janeiro Federal University in 2002 and became a specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Sao Paulo in 2006.

He has a Master’s Degree in Dentistry and is now working as a Ph.D. Candidate at King’s College London. He is a member of the International Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and the European Association for the Osseointegration.

His commitment to his patients and his passion for continuous learning make him a frequent attendee of numerous events and congresses around the world, and an enthusiast for the latest technologies in dentistry. GDC 282009

Special interest in Orthodontics Dr Rose Farinha qualified as a dentist in Brazil in 1997. Dr Rose gained extensive experience in general dentistry and endodontics while running her own successful dental practice, and also working as First Lieutenant with the Brazilian Army – a post she held for a decade. Following service in the army, Roseanne was bitten by the orthodontic bug and undertook a three-year postgraduate training programme in Orthodontics with the Brazilian Dental Association. In 2018, Dr Rose was awarded an integrated Master Degree in Dental Medicine in Portugal. Dr Rose continues to develop her skills with advanced training to bring happiness and long-lasting smiles to her patients. GDC: 282189

Special interest in Periodontal Treatment, caring about teeth and Implants. Jussara has been involved in research and working in periodontology after having acquired a Bachelor’s in Science of Dentistry and a Specialist Periodontology degree at Unicamp, Brazil. In her own dental clinic, she had been working on periodontal therapies, for two decades, dealing with surgical procedures and restorative dentistry, caring about supporting bony and gingival tissues around teeth. In 1998, she acquired a master’s degree in Periodontology, at Unitau, and, for ten years, she taught Dentistry students, participating in many academic conferences, and finishing an Osseo-integrated Implant Course. One of her most recent contributions includes the dissertation about the opportunistic bacteria in the oral cavity, as well as its clinical impact in the general health, carried out in Portugal, 2018, at the integrated master’s degree in Dental Medicine, extending her work about their antibiotic resistance from her PhD in Buccal Pathology at Unesp, 2004. Her attention and care to health and wellbeing goes beyond the oral cavity, and for ten years she was a volunteer of Medicus Mundi, Spain, an NGO that promotes the right and the access to health care. She believes that there is no general health without periodontal health, and everything starts with a good oral hygiene routine. GDC: 289280

Special interest in Endodontics Dr Patricia Antonelli qualified as a dentist in Brazil in 2009 she also has post-graduation qualifications in endodontics and orthodontics in Brazil. In 2019 Dr Patricia was awarded an integrated Master Degree in Dental Medicine in Portugal. Dr Patricia endeavours to provide high-quality oral care for all her patients, and takes pride in providing treatments with all her gentle and delicate care. She is dedicated to making sure that patients are satisfied when they leave and pays close attention to every minor detail to ensure success. She is constantly updating her knowledge with nationwide and international courses. GDC: 297391

Dr Rafael Rodrigues Piai obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the Estate University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
His passion and commitment to the profession have driven him to participate in many congresses. Dr Rodrigues Piai has undertaken higher training in minimally invasive dentistry, restorative dentistry, and oral surgery.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially cosmetic dentistry and loves to see his patients' reactions to their improved smiles.
He enjoys the interaction with general dental patients, and he feels rewarded by seeing the positive outcomes of the dental treatments that he provides. Rafael strongly believes that the best approach as a dentist is to respect patients' fears and values. He strongly believes in delivering minimally invasive and compassionate treatment. He aims to make a real difference in the quality of life through the provision of the highest quality dental care possible.
Outside of Dentistry Rafael enjoys travel, photography, football, yoga, and experiencing different cultures and is also father to a one-year baby girl.

Dr. Carolini Moraes qualified as a dentist in 2015 at one of Brazil’s most prestigious universities. She has worked in the UK for over 3 years, mainly in the private sector, providing high-quality restorative and cosmetic treatments for her patients.
Dr. Carolini also has a postgraduate qualification in the area of facial aesthetics and Prosthetics in Brazil and is also currently undergoing a Level 7 Diploma in facial aesthetics and providing outstanding treatments for our patients here at RIT Premium Dental Care, Liverpool.
